Wednesday Faith & Fun Summer Events
9:00am Mass Followed By Event (Various Locations)
Grow your faith and have fun with your friends over the summer by attending 9:00am Mass at St. Francis Xavier and heading out to a fun activity afterward. We will meet up after Mass and leave at 9:30am. Due to the parking lot project this summer at the church, Mass will be relocated to Trinity Hall starting in July. Please note Mass location on the schedule below.
It is a good idea to always have tennis shoes, sunscreen and a water bottle with, but special instructions are listed under each event. Also, please pack a lunch if you plan to eat lunch before heading home. A parent or caregiver is expected to attend these events with your child(ren), unless you have made prior arrangements to send your child(ren) along with another family.
In case of bad weather, the events after Mass will be canceled. Please text/call Julie Miriovsky (612-961-9027) if you have any questions.
FULL SCHEDULE:
JUNE 21st (Mass at Church) — Schroeder Park
*Bring your swimsuit & towel!
JUNE 28th (Mass at Church) — Fun at Gartners’ Farm
*Yard games and sports equipment provided, but bring your favorite game if
desired!
JULY 12th (Mass at School) — Pickleball and Parkside Playground
*Pickleball paddles and balls provided.
JULY 19th (Mass at School) — No scheduled event after Mass due to Camp Blaze.
JULY 26th (Mass at School) — Bertram Lakes
*Lots to do here, but bring your swimsuit, towel and life jacket if you plan to
swim!
AUGUST 2nd (Mass at School) — Beach Day (Location TBD)
*Bring your swimsuit, towel and life jacket!
AUGUST 9th (Mass at School) — St. Michael Town Center Park and Splash Pad
*Bring your swimsuit & towel!
AUGUST 16th (Mass at School) — Games Galore at the Grossmans
*Yard games and sports equipment provided, including volleyball and
pickleball!
