Buffalo Area Family Assistance

Love INC (Love In The Name of Christ) is a ministry that networks with local churches and community organizations together to assist people in need. Through Love INC, churches and individuals are mobilized to work together to provide coordinated help to those whose basic needs are not being met. Also, help can be given for longer-term goals, such as life skills training and transitional housing programs.

• Minor household & car repair
• Lullaby ministry (baby items)
• Gas cards
• Thrift store in Buffalo
• Referrals to other helping agencies

Organized locally, the SSVdP, St. Francis of Assisi Conference of St. Michael, operates the St. Vincent de Paul Store. We offer a wide variety of men's, women's, children's and infant's clothing, household and kitchen items, collect-ables, jewelry, small hand and electrical tools, books, toys and games. All merchandise is examined and tested before it is offered for sale.

 

​The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Michael Conference, is a volunteer, Catholic lay organization offering tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of our Society unique. We depend on the generous donations of others to assist us in our ministry. Our merchandise is donated primarily by members of St. Michael and surrounding communities. We are so very grateful for their support.
