Rooted in the Parish Evangelization Cells System (PECS) model, STFX Small Groups offer a concrete vision for relational evangelization, rooted in parish life. This dynamic model embodies parish renewal envisioned by St. John Paul II in Christifideles Laici. Through praise, sharing, and formation, small groups are, “where the faithful can communicate the Word of God and express it in service and love to one another; these communities are true expressions of ecclesial communion and centers of evangelization, in communion with their pastors (Statutes, Ch. 1, Art. 1, Par. 2)."
