Brother’s Keeper

In St. Matthew’s Gospel, we hear the wonderful words of Christ explaining His final judgment:

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.”

Our Brother’s Keeper is a way in which we can serve Jesus Christ in the poor among us. Every Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. in Parish Hall, everybody who can help with sewing quilts for the homeless is invited to join in this great outreach. Donations of materials are also most welcomed and can be left in the church basement near the elevator.
