Sharing & Caring Hands
Tuesday, February 17th
On Tuesday, February 17th St. Francis Xavier parishioners will prepare, deliver, and serve an afternoon meal to the homeless and needy at Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis. Please consider helping with this great work. Your help is needed to make bars or cookies, prepare the meal, or deliver and serve the meal. Bars and cookies can be dropped off at church basement on Sunday, February 15th after Masses or on Tuesday, February 17th between 9:00-11:30am.
Please be sure items are labelled for Sharing & Caring Hands. If you cannot physically help, please remember to pray for the success of this and other organizations that minister to the poor and homeless. If you can help in any way, contact Pat at 763-607-1185.
Special Request: There is a request for hats, mittens, and socks for those in need. There is a bin in the
Gathering Space as well as in the Parish Hall under the table near the elevator. Any donations of these items are appreciated.
2026 Sharing & Caring Schedule: February 17th, April 21st, June 16th, August 18th, October 20th and December 15th.
Lord our God, the poor people of our world are often tossed aside and forgotten. Help us to remember that they, too, are gifts from You. Open our hearts to be more generous to those who go without. Amen
