Plastic Grocery Bags Wanted!!
Saint Francis Xavier is collecting plastic grocery bags to be donated and recycled into a bench for our church. Please drop off your plastic bags at the church or parish office in the designated receptacles.
Other items that also can be donated are: Bread bags, bubble wrap, ice bags, newspaper sleeves, recloseable food storage bags (ie. Ziploc), cereal bags, water softener salt bags, bottle beverage case wrapping, produces bags, pallet wrap/stretch film and wood pellet bags.
IMPORTANT: All bags/plastics must be clean, dry and free of food residue to be accepted.
Have a large donation amount? Please drop them off in smaller increments so not to have overfill.
Once we have collected the amount of plastic needed, the bench will be made and installed at the church.
