We are teaming up with Whirltronics (local Buffalo business) to turn plastic bags into a community bench! Bring clean, dry plastic bags & film to the church, parish office or school and place them in the designated receptacles.  Let’s keep plastics out of landfills and put a new bench at our church/school.

 

Accepted materials (examples) – If the plastic stretches, it is acceptable

• Grocery/carryout bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, ice bags, newspaper sleeves, recloseable food storage bags (i.e. Ziploc), cereal bags, beverage case wrapping, softener salt bags, produce bags, pallet wrap/stretch film and wood pellet bags.

Not accepted:

• Crinkly films (chip/candy bags), food‑soiled film, compostable/biodegradable bags, rigid plastics, and strapping.
