St. Francis Xavier Jesse Tree
The Jesse Tree is an Advent custom using stories to help people have a stronger sense of who Jesus is, and who the people were that pointed the way to Him. The ornaments will have gift card requests for families in need. We are very appreciative of your past support in making the holidays brighter for area families in need. The need is incredibly great this year as many families struggle financially and emotionally. St. Francis Xavier has been asked to be the Emergency Church, which means we will help families who may have missed the registration for Adopt-A-Family.
The Jesse Tree ornaments will be available starting on the November 25th/26th weekend. Please read the prayer on the back of the ornament, and purchase the item requested. Return the actual Jesse Tree ornament with your gift card or the money for us to purchase the gift card to the box by the Jesse Tree, place in the collection basket, or drop off at the Parish Office by Monday, December 11th, or as soon as possible after that date. This allows time for our volunteers to purchase the needed items and for the gifts to be distributed.
