witness to the Culture of Life.
August 10th | Topic: Law and Society | Presenter: Santo Cruz (Parishioner, Healthcare Professional and Former Lobbyist): Now that SCOTUS has issued its decision in the Dobbs case, where do go from here? In this talk, we explore how to realistically and effectively work within the institutions of our current time and place to continue the momentum of the pro-life movement.
August 17th | Topic: John Paul II’s The Gospel of Life: What is the Gospel’s role in building the Culture of Life? St. John Paul II’s 1995 encyclical, Evangelium vitae (“The Gospel of Life”), is discussed in depth to show how our Catholic faith should engage the world to bring the
Gospel’s life-saving message to all.
August 24th | Topic: From Conception Until Natural Death | Presenter: Fr. Meyers: What is the ultimate purpose of the Culture of Life? In this final topic, we move out of the mere social and political reasons for affirming human dignity in all its forms to consider the spiritual purpose of humanity and its ultimate destiny of Heaven.
